Experiential Learning Program Coordinator

Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada is seeking a dynamic Experiential Learning Program Coordinator to serve as the lead facilitator and emcee for JA’s capstone programs, JA BizTown and JA Finance Park, creating engaging, real-world learning experiences for students K–12th and young adults ages 18–25. This high-energy role is the voice and guide of the simulation, leading students through their day from start to finish, keeping the program on track, and ensuring volunteers and educators feel confident and supported. The Coordinator balances engaging public speaking with behind-the-scenes troubleshooting to create a seamless, impactful experience for every participant.

Primary Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as the lead facilitator/emcee during simulations, providing clear instructions and keeping students engaged
- Support and guide volunteers, ensuring they understand their roles
- Provide on-site assistance to educators and students
- Maintain program flow and energy while troubleshooting in real time
- Assist with simulation set-up, wrap-up, and resetting for the next day
- Maintain program supplies, materials, and technology
- Track and report participation data

Qualifications (required)

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience; Bachelor’s preferred
- 1–3 years in education, public speaking, program facilitation, or customer service
- Strong public speaking, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Comfortable engaging large groups in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications (desired)

PREFERRED (Nice to Have):
- Experience working with students or volunteers
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Comfort using A/V equipment or microphones
