Director of Development
The Director of Development is responsible for increasing Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada’s fundraising capacity to achieve its strategic goals through a strengthened culture of philanthropy demonstrated by increased major giving, planned giving, corporate giving, annual giving and events. The Director of Development ensures legal compliance and best practices for gift administration and records management to ensure excellent stewardship of donor and community giving. The Director of Development will be one of the chief spokespersons representing the organization to constituencies, both internal and external, and will be a key strategic leader of the organization responsible for developing the resources needed to achieve JASN’s strategic goals and vision. This position will report to the President/CEO, and will serve on the President/CEO’s leadership team. The Director of Development will work closely with the President/CEO, Board of Trustees, staff and other keys stakeholders, as directed by the President/CEO.
