Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada is seeking a mission-driven and detail-oriented Experiential Learning Coordinator to help implement our dynamic JA BizTown and JA Finance Park programs. This role is central to creating engaging, real-world learning experiences for students while supporting and coordinating volunteers and educators. As part of the Education Team, you’ll play a key role in delivering impactful simulations that empower youth with financial literacy and career readiness skills.

Impact

Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada is seeking a mission-driven and detail-oriented Experiential Learning Coordinator to help implement our dynamic JA BizTown and JA Finance Park programs. This role is central to creating engaging, real-world learning experiences for students while supporting and coordinating volunteers and educators.

As part of the Education Team, you’ll play a key role in delivering impactful simulations that empower youth with financial literacy and career readiness skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Lead simulation days, serving as the on-mic facilitator to guide student experiences.
- Prepare the facility for student visits and manage post-simulation reset and cleanup.
- Provide morning volunteer check-in and training support.
- Monitor simulation materials, order supplies, and maintain inventory.
- Troubleshoot basic tech issues or escalate as needed; ensure tablets are stored and charged.
- Set up daily simulations and run reports using JA software.
- Support ongoing relationships with volunteers, educators, and partners.
- Communicate with the Experiential Learning Manager regarding scheduling, materials, and concerns.

Qualifications (required)

QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience working with volunteers and/or students preferred.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong public speaking and facilitation ability.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Tech-savvy; proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and database tools (CRM preferred).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must pass background checks and drug testing.
- Physically able to lift up to 25 lbs, stand or sit for long periods, and move throughout a simulation center.
