Len Stevens will retire on October 1 after serving as President and CEO of Junior Achievement. At this year's Swimming with the Big Fish Luncheon on September 29, we will present Len with the Nazir and Mary Ansari Business Leaders Award in recognition of his remarkable career and the countless lives he has influenced.
While Len's leadership of Junior Achievement has transformed our organization and expanded opportunities for thousands of students, his impact reaches far beyond JA. Through his work with the Reno + Sparks Chamber of Commerce, his years coaching and mentoring students at the University of Nevada, and his unwavering commitment to our community, Len has inspired and shaped generations of leaders.
Although Len is retiring from his role as President and CEO, his work with Junior Achievement is far from over. He will continue leading the capital campaign for Junior Achievement's Inspiration Center, which will be home to both BizTown and Finance Park. This project has been a passion of Len's for many years, and it will create life-changing learning experiences for thousands of Nevada students for generations to come.
The Nazir and Mary Ansari Business Leaders Award recognizes individuals whose leadership and service have left a lasting legacy in Northern Nevada. We can't think of anyone who embodies that spirit more than Len.
